Chicken Tikka


Chicken tikka makes a wonderful main meal that would make your lunch
date little extra special. Chili peppers are undoubtedly an aphrodisiac if
heat is the universal symbol for passion. The chemical capsaicin, which
is present in chilli peppers and increases with heat, is what gives them
their heat. It is well-known that capsaicin raises libido and testosterone
levels. Allicin, a substance found in garlic, is supposed to improve blood
flow to the sexual organs. Ginger may also boost blood flow, which
could improve libido and sexual excitement.

¾ lb chicken breast boneless ½ clove garlic, crushed

1 ½ tbsp yogurt

¾ tsp fresh grated ginger

½ small onion, grated

¼ tsp chili powder

½ tbsp ground coriander

1 tbsp tomato paste

salt

Cut the chicken breasts into long strips or cubes.
Mix the yoghurt, garlic, ginger, onion, chilli powder, coriander, tomato paste, and salt in a medium bowl.
Incorporate the chicken into the marinade mixture.
Refrigerate the bowl with a cover for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
Cook the chicken on skewers for 4 to 5 minutes per side, basting them with butter,
Serve with a salad or with naan bread.
